Ok, maybe not the dancing part
Just a quick note to say that despite my crazy university schedule, I didn't forget about the RandomVerse and all my friends here!
What I am doing right now: Dodging any and all spoilers about Captain America! It doesn't arrive here until the 28th!

This film... I like it! More!

Saw Thor this afternoon, in 3D.
Yeah, I wanted 2D, but the inner city cinemas didn't offer it. Thankfully the 3D glasses fit over ine. Oh, did I mention I got glasses recently?
Anyways, I've always found it difficult to take Thor seriously, but the movie made it possible to do so. Asgard is beautiful, though one should forgive Bifrost for not being a literal rainbow.
Loki is one of the most sympathetic villains I've seen. Possibly the most, if one discounts Dr Horrible.
There were a number of 3D gimmicks, but far few than I expected, so very impressed there. Much better than Pirates of the Carribean 4, the trailer of which seems to consist of running towards the camera and pointing swords at it. Some scenes, especially those that included flying, did seem a little off though.
I felt some of the story seemed a little rushed, but at 2 hours, 15 min you wouldn't want it to be too much longer.
Funny, cute and with enough explosions, but actually a fair bit less lightning than I expected, this movie was very fun. I enjoyed it very much. Can't wait for Captain America and The Avengers!

Hey all, just thought I'd put up a quick message.
With semester starting up again, I've had some scheduling issues that make it very difficult to get to BlogTV on time. My university internet also won't let me access the chat function here (what is with that?). Anyways, I thought I'd say that I'm still around, whenever I can, even if that's not as much as when I was on holidays.

What's this?
Why it's a rather nice parcel, that I found waiting for me when I got home this evening! There'd be more photos, but I can't open it yet (not all the contents are mine). So you, like me, shall just have to wait 'til Friday!
Ok, ok, it'll probably be Thursday for most of you.

Edit: waveyWHUT and I had a great time taking cheesy photos. We even dragged in a few tourists to help us! The entire album can be found here
Yay photos!

Unfortunately not the promised RandomShirts in Sydney, they're coming I promise! (I and the shirts should arrive back there at approximately the same time.)
Instead, I link you to some photos of my sister and I climbing Mt. Kosciuszko (the tallest mountain in Australia) to... eat cereal at the top.
Yes, cereal.
