After seeing Toy Story 3 yesterday, it was a little difficult for me to watch the Toy Story 3 characters and separate them from their memorable and emotionally moving roles in order to fit them into the trailer parody of a vastly different and apparently inferior movie...but I managed! This video is so funny! It was released exactly one month after their 100th video, so I have to wonder if the Randoms spent the past 3+ weeks on this one, or if they spent any time on any other future videos during that time. spideymouse is my name, and speculation is my game!
NOTE: About RandomMonth... I'm really sorry I dropped the ball, RandomFans. I pretty much burned out. Last week (June 17th) was ItsJustSomeRandomFanClub's 2nd birthday, and I just let it pass without saying a thing. Next time we have a RandomMonth, it will be better prepared. Have a good day!
Once again, you're getting triple the action on Friday.

Hold up. We've seen ItsJustSomeRandomGal's greetings for NYCC 2008 and 2009... but there was a greeting at this year's C2E2?!?! How come I've never seen it?! Just kidding. I was there. But for all of you who weren't, please allow me to treat you to this never-before-released footage from C2E2 2010's ItsJustSomeRandomPanel, after you re-watch RandomGal's first two greetings, of course. It's great.

Villains' Hangout
The Villain Hangout is the evil counterpart to the Heroes' Bar. It is believed to be owned by Lex Luthor. It is where the villains hang out and get drunk. It was also the location where Luthor and Joker launched their plans against the heroes. It contains several rooms, including a Red Sun room, designed by Luthor to hold Superman.
Santa Claus (excerpt)
Santa Claus is the gift giver during Christmas who lives on the North Pole. He visited Batman and Wayne Manor in Twas The Dark Knight Before Christmas.
Lance M. Donovan(LMD) is a character created specifically for the Randomverse, he is a cyborg combined from Cadmus and S.H.E.I.L.D technology, and thus a merging of both the DC and Marvel universes. In the early episodes of 'After Hours' he was a waiter at 'Stan's Place'(the Heroes Bar) but was later revealed to be the a robotic spy for Lex Luthor. Gathering information on different heroes and giving the villains a window into what the heroes were up to. He was created by Lex Luthor with help from Doctor Doom. His initials LMD have a double meaning which also stand for "Life Model Decoy"
Personality and Traits
Lance was designed by Lex Luthor to be "The last person anyone would suspect of any wrongdoing or of anything remotely intelligent, the last person you would ever want to talk to or spend any time with whatsoever" in essence "The Perfect Douche" This would allow Lance to walk amongst the heroes without being noticed. Lance's vocabulary consists largely of words and abbreviations such as "'Sup" and "Dude" and many other phrases synonymous with the American Surfer Dude archetype. His brain is unable to be read by Professor Xavier because he is not human, and the only thing that can be drawn from it is a loop of the song "My Humps" by 'The Black Eyed Peas'. Being a robot, Lance has enhanced strength as well as the ability to mind meld with humans and teleport great distances.
Although Lance is controlled by Luthor and other villains, he does not seem to be inherently evil and more or less simply just does what he is told. Evidence of this can be seen by the fact that he has an admiration for Superman who in his opinion "Rocks".
It can be believed that if Lance were to ever be free of the Villains control, the Heroes would allow him to come back to work at 'Stan's Place'

RandomVid of the Day: "Marvel/DC Twilight and New Moon Parody"
-The ItsJustSomeRandomGuy YouTube channel is currently the 88th most viewed comedy channel this month. This video is the 88th ItsJustSomeRandomGuy video. This is the reason why it is today's RandomVid of the Day.
-The Gobley 'ship is out in full force in this video. After posting this video, the Randoms explained that the so-called "vampires" are DCs, while the "werewolves" are Marvels. Specifically, the Cullens are Bat-villains, while the vampire antagonists seem to be the Bat-Family. One with more Twilight knowledge might be able to analyze and speculate on the details of the parody. With July's The Twilight Saga: Eclipse coming to theaters at the end of this month, it is the first potential trailer parody sequel by the Randoms, and if they decide to make one, it'll be interesting to see how things develop in this mini-drama. Much more interesting that the actual movies and books, anyway.
-As of today, this video is the last Trailer Parody the Randoms have done. While one could argue that the more recent Spider-Man Reboot Parody would be in this category, it technically doesn't parody any movie trailers. One may remember that the Trailer Parody series was created due to the relative lack of comic book movies in the summer of 2009. This summer, the pickings just about as slim. However, as we are still waist-deep in the events of Zero Hour, and with Jonah Hex and Scott Pilgrim still to come, it makes you wonder... will the Randoms be able churn out any new trailer parodies this summer, or will they hold off on continuing that series for relatively less busy periods of time?

Synopsis:
The video begins with the standard opening. Spider-Man opens by congratulating Superman on his return to "the movies". Superman feels good to be back and begins to discuss the movies DC has coming up. Spider-Man asks him about a series of movies, including Wonder Woman and The Flash. All of which Superman says could... maybe.. be coming to the big screen. Superman becomes excited about the possibility of there maybe, some time soon, in the next ten years, being a JLA movie. Spider-Man is not overly impressed and when Superman asks him what Marvel has planned. Spider-Man lists off their actual in-production projects: Iron Man, Hulk, and Ant-Man?, and then lists their future Thor, Captain America, and Avengers movies, along with more Spider-Man movies from Sony and X-Men? spin-offs from Fox. Because of this list, Superman is feeling a little inadequate and tries to feel better by stating that he will fight a super villain in his next movie. Spider-man is becoming less impressed and treats Superman desperate retort with a polite " I'm sure". Spider-Man tries to make Superman feel better by becoming excited about the casting of Two-Face in The Dark Knight movie. This backfires, and Superman becomes more depressed. Superman feels that "everyone loves Batman' and not him. Spider-man says sorry after this and Superman tries to act like it does not hurt him by brushing off Spider-Man's comment.

Before we move on with RandomMonth, I'd like to mention that ItsJustSomeRandomGuy's 100th video has gotten over 10,000 likes and 400,000 views in just over two weeks. Only four other RandomVids have over 10,000 likes--Round One #1, Round Two #1, Round Three #1, and Deadpool's first appearance)--each with over 1 million views. This goes to show how truly special this latest video is. And now...

RandomVid of the Day: "Marvel/DC: The Hangover, Up, and Drag Me To Hell Parodies"
This day in RandomHistory...
Posted exactly one year ago, it feels like it's been longer since the Randoms made Trailer Parody #3. After their parodies of Star Trek and Terminator Salvation were met with much popularity and acclaim, it seemed like moviegoers were just counting down to Transformers 2 as the next big popcorn action flick for them to parody. Instead, RandomGuy and Gal came up with this video. In this past 2009 RandomAwards, it came in second for best trailer parody. Please watch it again and enjoy the milkshake-induced hilarity.

Lars M. Dusseldorf was created by RandomGuy as a character for his Marvel/DC series. In the Random Verse Lars is a LMD, Life Model Decoy, created by Lex Luhtor.
History
After the events of Happy Hour, Lex Luthor was in need of a new android to help him due to the dissappearance of Lance. To fill this gap Luthor, apparently single handly, created Lars M. Dusseldorf sometime between the end of Happy Hour and the beginning of Zero Hour. Lex Luthor designed Lars to be both more powerful and duchier than his predecessor Lance.
Zero Hour
Lars makes his first appearance in the Zero Hour Prelude video. In this video, Lex Luthor is holding a meeting with the other supervillains in an attempt to persuade them to join his cause. However, when the villains turn on Lex in an attempt to get revenge, Lars steps in to stop them. He is powerful enough to single handly knock down almost every Marvel villain with ease. Lex goes on to introduce Lars to the other villains, claiming to be a Lance 2.0 who is more powerful and duchier than Lance. After the rest of the villains abandon the meetings, Lex asks Lars to help find out where Lance had disappeared to. Lars replies to this by claiming that he found Lance "like two hours ago" and proceeds to show Lex the survallence cam footage of Joker and Lance's head initiating Plan Q. In Zero Hour #1, Lars discovers the return of Lance's head and quickly reports this news to Luthor saying "the deuche who is not as powerful as me but is somehow more important than me just showed up."
Personality/Powers
Lars M. Dusseldorf is one of the most powerful beings so far shown in the Randomverse. The greatest display of his power so far is seen when he takes out many of the Marvel villains in one single action. Although he has not yet shown all of his powers, it is believed that he is capable of doing everything Lance could and more. Lars talks with a German accent and behaves like a European fashion designer. His personality appears to be heavily influenced by movies characters such as Bruno, in how he speaks and behaves. Due to this personality he is even deuchier, and yet more powerful than Lance.

RandomVid of the Day: "Marvel/DC: Disney Buys Marvel (Parody)"
Kicking off week number two of RandomMonth, we're going with a musical flavor. After it was announced on August 31st last year, the Randoms quickly moved to make their own YouTube video to honor/parody the situation. In ten days, they managed to write two songs, perform, shoot, and record it, edit it, and post it. And add ears to a silly 1962 Spider-Man action figure

Well, it's almost the end of the Day 7 of RandomMonth. Ironically, I worked all day on the seventh day. But I guess it was a rest from RandomStuff. I'm not saying by the title that every Monday is going to be bare bones like this, but it might. Anyway, for a pick me up, I present to you, Gobby du jour. Enjoy!

Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) is a Marvel villain and Spider-Man's nemesis. He is clad in the same costume that is featured in the Spider-Man 1 film and is obsessed with Willem Dafoe, who portrays him in the series. In the videos, he constantly buts heads with Lex Luthor, mocking his tendency to think rather than take action and has more than once actually hindered or slowed down Luthors schemes. Early in the show, he harbored a crush for Harley Quinn, and has in recent episodes achieved his goal of becoming her "Pumpkin" replacing her "Puddin'" (The Joker). The Goblin also has a somewhat addictive personality, he is a heavy drinker at social gatherings, and when given sedatives, he will proceed to hallucinate vividly. His video blogs, 'Goblin Bloggin', are his way of chronicling what it typically happening in the main story, and during these blogs, it is very apparent that he has a rocky relationship with his son ,Harry Osborne, much like in the comics and the films, as well as an apparent admiration for Peter Parker "The Son he wishes he had". This points to the notion that he is unaware of Spider-Man's true identity.
Goblin also seems to have a bit of a rivalry with Tony Stark / Iron Man, who has made a habit of arresting him and shocking him with 'The Stark Platinum Card' to which Goblin has retaliated by apparently stealing from and vandalizing Stark Industries. It is not clear yet as to weather the Randomverse's Green Goblin is head of any sort of company, like Oscorp, though it is apparent from shots of his home that he is wealthy.
Personality and Traits
Out of all the characters in the RandomVerse, The Green Goblin is perhaps the most noticeably different from his comic book counterpart. In the comics, he is incredibly intelligent and a master planner, as well as a skilled fighter and scientist. In the RandomVerse however, he is an accident prone "comic relief" character, who relies mostly on his pumpkin bombs and glider. He is also seemingly very disinterested in fighting the heroes or scheming against them. All in all, this Goblin seems to more of a parody of himself. There are however many similarities to the canon Goblin, such as his superhuman abilities and sarcastic wit, as well as as hatred for Spider-Man.
It is worth mentioning however, that these personality teaks, have made him a fan favorite in the videos.
After Hours
He ridiculed Lex Luthor for him always thinking of a grand plan rather than executing it. In After Hours he tried to help out Lex in his plan to help the supervillians get better movies by going into the past. Goblin however got drunk and crashed the heroes bar and was taken down. Lex then used his douche Lance to put a telaporter signal on him to trap Superman, it worked. Luthor after dealing with Superman was about to punish Goblin when the Marvel supervillains attack, finding out that Luthor had sold them out to eliminate the Marvel Universe. Before he vanished he kissed Harley Quinn. After Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man restored things he knocked Lex out with a pumpkin bomb, it was here that he fell in love with Harley.
Happy Hour
Goblin tried to go out with Harley, but was attacked by the Joker in Harley's Apartment. Joker then decided to use him in his plan. Goblin was tied up with Batman whom the Joker had been teleported, and strapped with a bomb. Batman broke out and defused the bomb, while Goblin sang thinking of Harley. Goblin then tried to kill Batman with a bomb in order to prove to Harley he was better than the Joker but was run over by the Batmoblie driven by Spiderman. knocked unconscious by the crash, he was given massive amounts of sedatives that made him hallucinate. He dreamed he was with Harley, he though He began to sing old songs form the 70's and 80's, and he thought Spider-Man was "a pretty Lady" and a person with antlers. He was attacked with Spider-Man by the Heroes whom the Joker had changed into homicidal vigilantes. Goblin though he was having fun being tossed up and though Wonder Woman was a dominatrix, the safe word being "Pumpkin". Batman helped the two escape, and confronted Luthor, drugging him the same way as Goblin. having been captured by the Joker again, Goblin was met by Harley who tried to help him but told him to keep acting like he was drugged. Goblin kept up the act until the Joker found out through his video surveillance. The Joker tortured Goblin by having Lance learn all of Spanish all at once. When the Joker's plan failed he fought the Joker and knocked him out, when Lance's body exploded, if was though Goblin died in the explosion, but survived, much to Harley's relief.
During RandomMonth, Sundays will be marked by extended periods of RandomFanActivity. Firstly, there are four RandomVids that are so long that ItsJustSomeRandomGuy and Gal had to split them each into two parts. So each Sunday, we will be featuring one of them, as well as an extended RandomQuote from it.
Secondly and possibly more importantly, we will continue the practice started last week of holding an ItsJustSomeRandomFanClub-wide video marathon on blogTV. The Randoms have posted 100 videos. Each week, we will be playing a different portion of those videos as a celebration of all things Marvel/DC, as well as exclusive bonus videos owned privately by certain RandomFans. Interested? Come tonight to spideymouse's channel at 8pm ET/5pm PT!
Lastly, every Sunday's RandomAwareness won't be so random, as evidenced first by today's item. Make sure to check it out.
RandomVid of the Day: "MARVEL/DC Season 2: Happy Hour #1"
Part one. What's funny is that the first time RandomGuy posted Happy Hour #1 that fateful Saturday night in April 2008, I actually failed to watch this one first. I went to my YouTube homepage where my subscriptions module was, and excitedly clicking on the "MARVEL/DC Season 2 Happy Hour #1..." icon, watched a strange dream sequence with a piano and Green Goblin singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler. And as hilarious as Batman and Gobby tied to each other was, I failed to deduce why this season premiere was kicking off in the middle of the action. In fact, I watched this video all the way until Spider-Man hit Gobby with the Batmobile and in turn was hit with his own webbing and an airbag before I realized I was watching the second of two videos.
Embarrassed, I quickly found this video and watched it in chronology. As confused as I was when I thought Gobby's dream sequence was an odd way to begin the season, I was equally as amazed at the real introduction sequence, immediately getting and enjoying the references to Spider-Man 1 and 2. The subsequent 1989 Batman references got me really excited, and the return to the Heroes' Bar was a real treat. After After Hours (ha, look, I typed "After After") storyline got so serious and departed from its comedic one-off origins, to see the Marvels and DCs kicking back and discussing their movies again was definitely a welcome sight. Finally, continuity was the best part (ooh, continuity!). Running jokes ("I'm sorry, what?"), plotline continuation (Gobley romance and dissecting Lance) from After Hours, and a reference to current comic book continuity (Spider-Man's marriage) once again exhibited RandomGuy's superb writing talent. It was also nice to finally understand everything that happened in part two. In my own opinion, Happy Hour #1 is the best written episode of Season 2. What do you all think?
RandomQuote of the Day: "Come on, cheer up, guys! So what if your solo movies fell through so the studio decided to make a Justice League movie and introduce all of you at once but other directors have gone on record wishing that they'd wait till the Batman and Superman trilogies are done not to mention the fact that Christian Bale and Brandon Routh won't be along to give continuity which the fans desperately want but the studio seems to think that people won't be confused or turned off by much younger looking actors and are still rushing to make it a summer tent pole in spite of vehement fan disapproval on every fan site online which the studios claim to respect but every bit of forward momentum on this project causes fans everywhere to believe otherwise? It could still be okay!" ~Superman, MARVEL/DC Season 2: Happy Hour #1 (1 of 2)

Today is a special day. While none of us is sure exactly when she was actually born, this day is celebrated as the birthday of Kat Kat, also known as ItsJustSomeRandomCat! Indeed, it was a hot June day when Mike Agrusso and Brinna Li stumbled upon a skinny, white, stray cat on a street, and the couple took her in as their own. Derived from a quote by the mice in Disney's Cinderella (Jack and Gus), she was named Kat Kat, and has been the Randoms' baby ever since. As her adoptive parents would go on to help pioneer an Internet phenomenon and become stars, Kat Kat eventually took the name ItsJustSomeRandomCat, and the title Executice Executive Producer. A RandomFan-favorite, she deserves a happy and love-filled birthday!
RandomVid of the Day: "Marvel/DC: After Hours #6 UPDATE"
Although her first official RandomVid appearance was in "Marvel/DC: After Hours #5...DELAYED!!!", it was in the following video where we got to see Kat Kat up close and personal (Skip to the 1:32 mark to see it):
Old school RandomFans from back in 2007 will remember these first "update" videos, where RandomGuy and RandomGal would kick it silent film-style. It was a charming part of their Internet persona, and it surrounded their already legendary voice talents with a kind of mystery. Of course, they ultimately revealed their speaking voices in panels, interviews, weekly broadcasts (unless they have us all fooled...), but this is a fun look back in RandomVerse history.
As for RandomCat, you can view more videos featuring her here, here and here!
