    "Two hundred, fifteen thousand, six hundred views...     Two hundred, fifteen thousand moments so dear...     Two hundred, fifteen thousand, six hundred views...     How do you measure, measure a vid?     Rorschach and Deapooooooool. Rorschach and Deapoooooooool." If you didn’t get that reference, then go see RENT. Either watch the movie or listen to the soundtrack. Then, come back and appreciate my brilliance. That’s right, Rorschach and Deadpool climbed over 200,000 views this past week, and it’s still climbing. It’s becoming incredibly popular, but is it popular enough? Let’s go to the video tape. Here is the video in question. When this baby hit it quickly soared to over 100,000 views, and yet it seemed like RandomGuy just didn’t think it was popular enough. Let’s look at some numbers. This video has been around for less than 3 weeks, and has reached over 215,000 views already. It has already surpassed a number of its recent predecessors. Among the numerous videos that it has already passed in view count are Marvel/DC Season 3 Promo, Goblin Bloggin’: Resurrected, C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo) 2010, Marvel/DC Season 3: Zero Hour Prelude, Marvel/DC Season 3: Zero Hour #1, C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo) 2010 #2, and Marvel/DC: Spider-Man Reboot Parody. Did you get all those shameless links? Good. However, to truly measure the popularity of the Rorschach and Deadpool video one must juxtapose it against other videos starring its biggest star. And that means more embedded videos! Without a doubt, Deadpool is the biggest draw the Randoms have. Some might make a case for Gobby, but while he may be a fan favorite I would like to point out that Goblin Bloggin’ #1, #2, and #3 have performed nowhere near as well as the videos that Deadpool has appeared in. This was the video that started it all. Hell, the image of Deadpool used to represent this video is still the image used to represent the Randoms' channel. It’s been less than a year and this video has already garned over 1,250,000 views. This is the 2009 Random Video of the Year. And with all the laughs in this video--WHOA! It’s no wonder it’s so popular. This video produced the 2009 Random Song of the Year, "Ode to Ryan Reynolds," and has rocketed to almost 500,000 views in 6 months. And this has been the best critically received RandomVid to date. As of this writing, the Deadpool and Green Lantern video is the #46 Top Rated Comedy of all time. That’s absolutely monumental. Now for further comparisons here are some videos that Deadpool has appeared in that still have higher view counts than the Rorschach and Deadpool. This list includes the following parodies: Drag Me to Hell, The Hangover and Up Parodies, Disney Buys Marvel, Harry Potter Parody, Inglorious Marvel/DC Parody, Keep On Trekkin’ and Terminator Salvation Parody.
