As the one and only video to be made by ItsJustSomeRandomGuy and Gal to promote this year's New York Comic Con 2010, the Randoms picked a classic Looney Tunes cartoon to parody. Deadpool reprises his short-lived role as Daffy Duck from Zero Hour #3 in this gem of a promo:

I don't know what it is, but Deadpool fits so perfectly as Daffy Duck for some reason.

I wrote this in my comment for the video, but I'll say it again here. At first, seeing Deadpool once again in the thumbnail for the new video in my subscriptions box, I was afraid I was getting tired of his recent glut of screen time (this is the tenth video in a row featuring Deadpool, and the third Comic Con-related Deadpool video).

But after actually watching the video, my mind was changed. The premise for this video is great, and I don't know if I'd be able to see anyone else as the star. I could see the Green Goblin perhaps, although he works great in his role in the ending, or even Spider-Man, but when it comes to a parody of a cartoon centered on breaking the fourth wall, it's gotta be Deadpool.

What did you RandomFans think of the video? And are you going to attend the New York Comic Con this year? Let your voices be heard in the comments section!

Good morning, Spideymouse.

I saw a lot of "Deadpool AGAIN?" comments in the forum of the video. Personally, I went through that phase about a month or so after he first showed up.

However, now, like you, my sentiment is that as long as the video is good, I don't really care if it's Deadpool again.

And this was a really good video.

Besides, from what I've seen of Zero Hour, he's actually been put in the background in favor of the usual suspects.

After Zero Hour #3, it looks like they've placed Deadpool at the forefront with Gobby and Lex in the future. We'll see what happens. They still need to address the Darkseid storyline that started at the end of Happy Hour #5, so we'll see who takes the stage in Zero Hour #4.

Speaking of which, I should blog about how they're premiering it at NYCC this year. I should also look into getting tickets.

I just skimmed through the Zero Hour episodes, and I'd forgotten about Deadpool getting an increasing role in them. All I remembered was that he wasn't in Part 1.

I haven't watched these videos in months, as doing so too often ruins the jokes. Hence my faulty memory.

So I concede to your argument.
